Mankato — Twin Rivers Council for the Arts invites the community to celebrate creativity, connection and the beauty of summer at Art in the Garden, the organization’s annual fundraising event, on Sunday, August 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the historic Hubbard House Gardens.

Presented by Meyer & Norland Financial Group, Art in the Garden transforms the gardens into an immersive celebration of art, music, fashion and community while raising support for Twin Rivers’ year-round arts programming throughout Greater Mankato.

Guests will enjoy a variety of unique experiences, including:

• Build-your-own bouquet at the Bloom Bar by underwritten by Becky’s Floral Mankato
• Shopping with talented local artists and makers
• Live music by Stacy K and Alloy
• Fashion tarot readings by Ann Rosenquist Fee

“Art in the Garden celebrates everything Twin Rivers believes the arts should be—accessible, inspiring and shared with the community,” said Kaaren Grabianowski, Executive Director of Twin Rivers. “Whether you’re discovering a new artist, creating your own bouquet, enjoying live music or simply spending time in the gardens with friends and family, every ticket purchased helps us continue providing opportunities for artists and enriching our community through the arts.”

Proceeds from Art in the Garden support Twin Rivers Council for the Arts’ many initiatives, including CityArt Mankato, Twin Rivers Writers Series, Creative Connections, Best in Art, public art projects, artist development opportunities and other programs that strengthen the region’s creative economy and quality of life.
