NEW ULM — The New Ulm Farmers Market is excited to announce a special Farm-to-Fun Day at the New Ulm Farmers Market on Saturday, July 11, 9am-12pm featuring free activities, live entertainment, local vendors, and plenty of family-friendly fun. Introduced last season to enhance the market experience for visitors of all ages, Farm-to-Fun Days return in 2026 with a variety of special activities designed to make the Farmers Market a destination for the whole family.
Visitors to the July 11 Farm-to-Fun Day can enjoy: New Ulm Parks and Recreation Rec on the Go and Bounce House 9-11am; Fynnicle the Clown and The Bubble Baron 10am-12pm; live music by Nick Stadick, and “zine” making (simple handmade book) hosted by the Grand Center for Arts & Culture, the Family Wellness Table by Brown County Public Health, and Chalk Artist Kara Carlson for the length of the market (9am-12pm).
Arts activities at the New Ulm Farmers Market are made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. In addition to these special activities, shoppers can browse a variety of local vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, meats, eggs, handmade items, and other locally produced products. Whether you’re stopping by for fresh vegetables, a balloon creation, live music, or to watch an artist create unique chalk designs, Farm-to-Fun Day offers something for every age. Families can also mark their calendars for the remaining Farm-to-Fun Days on August 22 and September 12, each featuring its own unique mix of activities, entertainment, and hands-on experiences. Details for each event will be announced throughout the season at www.newulm.com/farmersmarket.
The New Ulm Farmers Market is celebrating its 29th season in 2026 and is held at its new location in the parking lot of River Bend Education District, 1315 South Broadway. The market operates Thursdays from 2:30–5:30 p.m. through August 27 and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. through October 10.
