ProMusica Minnesota is proud to announce its 2026 ProMusica Chamber Music Festival, a two-day celebration of chamber music, emerging performers and young visual artists!
Festival organizers describe the program as a musical conversation spanning centuries — from Beethoven’s Classical clarity to Copland’s distinctly American sound world and the emotional richness of Schumann’s Romantic masterpiece.
The festival opens Friday evening with “Mosaics of Time,” an evocative chamber music program exploring musical expression across eras and traditions. The festival continues Saturday morning with the Young Artists Concert, featuring performances by outstanding emerging musicians.
In addition to the musical performances, the 2026 festival will feature a juried student art competition focused on two-dimensional visual artwork. Open to artists ages 13–18 living in the eight-county area surrounding Mankato, the competition seeks to encourage artistic achievement and interdisciplinary creativity among young people throughout the region.
Friday’s evening concert is $25. Free student rush tickets will be available 30 minutes before the concert. Saturday’s Young Artists’ Concert is free, but donations will be accepted.
