New Ulm — The New Ulm Business & Retail Association (NUBRA), a committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce, is excited to announce the return of the popular #LoyalToLocalNU Holiday Passport program! From November 1 through November 30, shoppers are encouraged to support participating New Ulm businesses while earning chances to win $1,000 or $500 in Chamber Dollars.
Introduced in 2023, the Holiday Passport program has continued to grow as a way to encourage local shopping during the holiday season. Over the first three years, 1,417 completed passports were submitted, representing $425,100 in tracked local spending. The program highlights the importance of supporting local businesses and keeping shopping dollars in the community.
Throughout November, customers can shop at participating businesses and collect stamps to fill their passports. Gift card purchases count, too! Shoppers may complete and submit as many passports as they would like for additional chances to win. Completed passports must be turned in by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, at the Chamber Office (1 North Minnesota Street) or any participating business. Winners will be drawn and announced on Friday, December 4.
Passports will be available at participating businesses and the Chamber Office. A complete list of participating businesses and additional program details will be available at newulm.com.
The #LoyalToLocalNU Holiday Passport is organized by the New Ulm Business & Retail Association, a committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce, and hosted by the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.
