Mankato – The Historic R.D. Hubbard House, which is one of the finest Victorian-style homes still left in Mankato, will once again be open for the season beginning Friday, May 22 at 10 a.m. Before the Season start, join the staff for a Nooks and Crannies Tour of the Hubbard House on Thursday, May 21 at 6 p.m.
Join us for a special tour focused on the nooks and crannies when the Hubbard House was the Museum from 1938-1988, plus an insider look at the restoration work done during the 1990s. This tour includes narrow stairs and very few places to sit. Please wear comfortable shoes. Admission for the Nooks and Crannies tour is $15/adults, $12/seniors, $10/BECHS Members, $5/children 5-17.
Guided tours of this grand 16-room house begin and end in the Carriage House. Admission to the Hubbard House is $10/adults, $8/seniors 65+, $5/children 5-17, and free for BECHS Members and kids under 5. You can preschedule tours through the BECHS website or tours begin at the top of the hour.
The Hubbard House is open Memorial Day through Labor Day Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 12-4 p.m.
