New Ulm — The New Ulm Farmers Market will wrap up its 2026 Farm-to-Fun Day series on Saturday, September 12, from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. with a morning full of free activities, live entertainment, local vendors, and family-friendly fun. Introduced last season to enhance the market experience for visitors of all ages, Farm-to-Fun Days feature a variety of special activities designed to make the Farmers Market a destination for the whole family.
Visitors to the September 12 Farm-to-Fun Day can enjoy Rec on the Go and a bounce house from 9:00–11:00 a.m.; Fynnicle the Clown from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.; and live music by Chris Bertrand from 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Throughout the market, families can also enjoy kids’ games with the Wanda Gag House, the Family Wellness Table by Brown County Public Health, face painting by Making Faces Mankato, and chalk art by Kara Carlson. The League of Women Voters of New Ulm will also be on hand with a “Vote for Your Favorite New Ulm Park” booth.
Arts activities at the New Ulm Farmers Market are made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. In addition to these special activities, shoppers can browse a variety of local vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, meats, eggs, handmade items, and other locally produced products. Whether you’re stopping by for fresh vegetables, a balloon creation, live music, or to watch an artist create unique chalk designs, Farm-to-Fun Day offers something for every age. Families can also mark their calendars for the final Farm-to-Fun Day on September 12, each featuring its own unique mix of activities, entertainment, and hands-on experiences. Details for each event will be announced throughout the season at www.newulm.com/farmersmarket.
The New Ulm Farmers Market is celebrating its 29th season in 2026 and is held at its new location in the parking lot of River Bend Education District, 1315 South Broadway. While Farm-to-Fun Days conclude September 12, the Farmers Market season continues Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. through October 10.
