Enjoy Free Admission for Fire Safety Day at the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota

    Mankato — The Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota is excited to invite families to a special Fire Safety Education Day on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

    This free event offers hands-on learning experiences, including exploring fire trucks, interacting with Sparky the Fire Safety Dog, and participating in safety demonstrations like the Smoke Simulator House and Fire Extinguisher Simulations. Children can also enjoy a Firefighter Relay Race and receive exciting giveaways.

    “The event aims to educate children and families on essential fire safety practices in a secure, fun environment,” said Rachel Gemlo, Director of Programming.
