One of the oldest and largest parks in Mankato, Sibley Park abounds with recreational and entertainment opportunities.
Located at the confluence of the Minnesota and Blue Earth Rivers, the north side of the park offers areas for fishing and river access along with ball fields, restrooms and playgrounds.
The large sliding hill in the center of the park has been a community favorite for generations.
The south side of the park is landscaped in Edwardian style with a large collection of trees, flower gardens, fountains, and a gazebo — a popular spot for outdoor weddings. Sibley Farm and playground is found in this part of the park.
In summer, the Park features the Mankato Community Band plays and in winter the park hosts the hugely popular Kiwanis Christmas lights display.
Sibley Park offers paved trails and spacious grassy areas.
No pets are allowed in the park.
