The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce invites nonprofit organizations, community groups, and local businesses to attend a Grant Writing Workshop. The workshop is made possible through funding support from the New Ulm Area Foundation.

This workshop will provide participants with practical guidance on identifying grant opportunities, developing strong proposals, and improving their chances of securing funding. Whether attendees are new to grant writing or looking to strengthen their existing skills, the session will offer helpful insights and strategies that can be applied to a wide range of projects and organizations.

The workshop will feature a panel of experienced professionals who have extensive backgrounds in grant writing, nonprofit leadership, and funding programs. Panelists include Anna Pollock, Executive Director of Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council; John Illikman, Executive Director of the New Ulm Area Foundation; Mary Ellen Domeier, Board Governance Consultant and community leader; and Sandy Reinke, board member of State Street Theater Company and experienced grant writer. Together, they will share their expertise, perspectives, and practical tips for navigating the grant process.

Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with others in the community who are working on similar initiatives. The event will include free heavy appetizers, providing a relaxed setting for conversation, networking, and learning.

Space is limited and RSVP is required by March 12. To register or learn more, please visit the Chamber’s website at www.newulm.com or contact the Chamber at chamber@newulm.com or 507-233-4300.
