State Street Theater has been working closely with the Brown County Public Health Director to ensure our patrons and actors’ safety. Since reopening, State Street Theater has been operating at 25% capacity or 200 seats. The current rules for theaters allow us to remain open at our current total of 200.
State Street Theater has adopted protocols that address social distancing and other related procedures for rehearsals and productions for audiences and actors alike. To learn more about State Street Theater’s safety protocols and upcoming performances, visit www.statestreetNEWULM.org.
As of now, State Street Theater plans to present Charlotte’s Web, November 20-22, 2020; The Johnny Cash Story, November 28, 2020; Lorie Line, December 2, 2020; the Nutcracker, December 9-12, 2020; the Looney Lutherans, December 13, 2020; the Whitesidewalls, December 18, 2020; and Duelly Noted, January 16, 2021.
If any State changes require us to cancel a concert or performance, we will do our best to reschedule the event. Ticket holders can use the ticket at the rescheduled event, receive a full refund from Eventbrite, or exchange for a production/performance at an equal value if purchased at Hy-Vee or the New Ulm Chamber.
Please feel free to reach us at statestreettheater@gmail.com or 507-359-9990 if you have any questions concerning your purchased ticket.
State Street Theater, its Board of Directors, and volunteers thank you for understanding as it, along with many others, makes adjustments in these unprecedented times.
These activities are made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Performances are also made possible by a grant from the New Ulm Area Foundation.
