Sites accepting donations for area schools August 19-30
Mankato — Area businesses are participating in a school supply drive for regional schools August 19 to 30 through an annual initiative by Greater Mankato Area United Way.
Community members can drop off NEW school supplies at the following sites:
- CornerStone State Bank (Le Sueur & Montgomery)
- Erbert & Gerbert’s (Mankato, North Mankato, St. Peter) – Inquire within for discount
- First National Bank of Le Center
- Frandsen Bank (Waterville)
- JP Fitness (Mankato)
- Kokomo’s Bar & CharGrill (Cleveland)
- Lake Crystal Area Rec Center
- Maggie J’s (Mapleton)
- Mankato Family YMCA
- North Mankato Taylor Library
- Snell Motors (Mankato)
- St. Clair Fitness Center
- Taco Terco (Montgomery)
- Thrivent – Diane Beckmann (Waseca)
Supplies needed:
- Backpacks (high priority)
- Colored pencils
- Markers
- Glue sticks
- Whiteboard markers and erasers
- All other new school supplies welcome!
