Mankato Area Foundation Grants $4.2 Million

    November 26th, 2024

Mankato — The Mankato Area Foundation (MAF) released Philanthropy Review 2024 this week, highlighting another record year of generosity and 50 years of impact.

Over the past fiscal year, MAF disbursed 665 grants totaling $4.2 million to nonprofit organizations, an increase from last year’s $3.5 million in giving.

Nancy Zallek, President and CEO of MAF, attributes this year’s growth in giving to the ongoing commitment of individuals, families and businesses who continue to step up to address emerging needs.

“This year, we saw a remarkable uptick in support for health and human services, along with ongoing support for arts, education, and youth,” said Zallek. “The incredible generosity of this community never ceases to amaze me. Every gift makes a difference, and the impact of this collective giving benefits us all.”
