Red Jacket Valley Park

Red Jacket Valley Park, located south Mankato on Highway 66, is one of the area’s newest parks offering woodland trails and water access.

Several former quarries filled with water make a unique natural area. There is easy access to the water for canoeing, kayaking and swimming.

Part of the park lies adjacent to the Le Sueur River and the Red Jacket Trestle Bridge is visible from parts of the area. The Red Jacket Trail is also very close by.
