Mankato — GreenSeam has officially launched the search for its next Director following a strategic visioning process which established a more focused direction for the organization and its work supporting the region’s food and agribusiness economy.

Led by the GreenSeam Board of Governors and Greater Mankato Growth, Inc. Board of Directors, the process identified attracting investment, driving business growth, and promoting the importance of agribusiness in South Central Minnesota as the core priorities of GreenSeam moving forward.

The work of GreenSeam will more intentionally focus on South Central Minnesota, allowing the organization to concentrate its resources where it can have the greatest direct impact. This focus does not redefine the broader GreenSeam region, which remains connected across southern Minnesota and beyond through a shared food and agribusiness ecosystem. While South Central Minnesota will be the focus of GreenSeam’s work, the region and its connections extend beyond those boundaries.

“This process has provided greater clarity around GreenSeam’s role and the opportunities ahead,” said Ryan Erickson, Chair of GreenSeam Board of Governors. “As we look toward GreenSeam’s next decade, we are excited to find a leader who can build on the organization’s strong foundation and turn this renewed direction into meaningful opportunities for businesses and communities across South Central Minnesota.”

The next Director will lead GreenSeam strategy and key initiatives, cultivate and steward investor relationships, identify opportunities for business attraction, expansion, and value-added development, and champion South Central Minnesota as a destination for food and agribusiness innovation. The Director will work closely with the GreenSeam Board of Directors, regional stakeholders, and the integrated Greater Mankato Growth, Inc. team.
