Camp Sweet Life has received a $5,000 grant from the Mankato Clinic Foundation to be used for our camp supporting kids with Type One Diabetes.

Since 2010 Camp Sweet Life (a Southern MN originated program) has supported kids and families affected with the disease of Type One Diabetes. In 2026 Camp Sweet Life will host a camp where all kids participate in normal camp activities such as swimming, field games, shooting sports, crafts and more. In 2026 130 youth with Type One Diabetes and a staff of 81 will attend camp!

Camp Sweet Life’s mission is to Connect, empower and transform kids with Type One Diabetes and to support families affected by the disease.

The Mankato Clinic Foundation provides grants to organizations and initiatives that promote and improve health and wellness in the communities the clinic serves. The Mankato Clinic Foundation is proud to support these organizations.

The physicians at the Mankato Clinic provide the majority of the Foundation funding as a means to give back to the community and support organizations that strive to improve health and wellness.
