NEW ULM – The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce, Wealth Management Solutions – Ameriprise Financial, and Heart of New Ulm are teaming up once again to encourage the community to get active, explore local businesses, and have some fun during the 2026 Community Poker Walk.

The Poker Walk will take place Monday through Thursday, June 8–11, from 10am to 5pm, unless otherwise noted on the route, at participating locations throughout New Ulm. Participants will follow designated walking routes, visit featured local businesses, and collect playing cards along the way to build their best poker hand for a chance to win prizes.

The event is designed to encourage residents and visitors alike to discover local businesses while incorporating physical activity into their daily routine. Routes will highlight a variety of Chamber member businesses throughout the community, with a new route each day of the event.

Participants can complete the routes at their own pace during participating businesses’ regular business hours. Poker hands must be submitted according to the event instructions to qualify for prize drawings. More information, including routes, participating businesses, and event details, can be found at newulm.com and on the Chamber’s social media pages.
