MANKATO—Greater Mankato Area United Way is seeking volunteers for its 5th annual Human Foosball Tournament & Block Party on September 7.

This year’s 32-team tournament takes place Saturday, September 7 from 12 to 5 p.m. on the 500 block of South Front Street. The street will be blocked off between Cherry and Warren to make room for four life-sized Foosball courts.
In addition to court setup/takedown, referees, scorekeepers and court helpers are needed throughout the day. Kids welcome to volunteer during the tournament. The public is invited to cheer on the teams! Spectators welcome to enjoy the Foosball games, City Center establishments and block party atmosphere. Music by Radio Mankato. Free for spectators.

Event proceeds benefit the partner agencies of Greater Mankato Area United Way, which serves Blue Earth, Le Sueur, Nicollet and Waseca counties.
