Walk the red carpet to the “Golden Age of Hollywood” on Friday, September 6, 2019 at State Street Theater Co. for an evening of elegance drawing back to the 1940’s movie premiers. The evening will feature opportunities to eat dinner at “Rick’s Café Americana” or dessert at the “Arifa Airport Lounge,” and all will have the opportunity to watch “Casablanca” on the big screen.
A meal will be served at 5:45 p.m. in “Rick’s Café Americana” at $50 a person. “Rick’s Café Americana” will feature dinner and dessert with a Moroccan flair against a background of music and songs from the movie “Casablanca” and other 1940s hits.
Those who are only hungry for dessert can come at 6:30 p.m. to the “Arifa Airport Lounge” for $25 a person. The “Arifa Airport Lounge” will feature one free drink, cheesecakes, and chocolates. Both events include tickets to “Casablanca” with early seating.
Black tie admired but not required for the red carpet walk among stars from the movie “Casablanca.” Be sure to have your Argus (35mm camera) ready to catch your favorite movie stars!
General seating tickets are also available for purchase to watch “Casablanca” for $10. General seating begins at 7:30 p.m. “Casablanca” (1942) is rated PG with a running time of 1 hour 42 minutes.
Limited advance tickets available for “Rick’s Café Americana” and “Arifa Airport Lounge.” Tickets can be purchased at the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce and online at statestreetNEWULM.org.
