Four free performances of GODSPELL the Musical will be presented at Centenary United Methodist Church in Mankato August 8th through the 10th telling this Broadway favorite story of ·the life of Jesus according to Mathew. The show features the international hit song Day by Day.
A local group of 14 actors brings this entertaining show to life featuring Amber Frederick in the role of Jesus and Jerad Lanes in the dual role of John the Baptist and Judas.
This show is appropriate for all ages and features a wide range of humor and musical styles that have entertained audiences for years.
Centenary’s Social Justice Theatre Team presents GODSPELL the Musical. Their mission is to use theatre to illuminate social justice, explore spiritual values and build community.
All donations to this production will go to support The Holy Grounds Ministry of Centenary. Past productions have supported such community projects as the Backpack Food Program, the Fallenstein Accessible Playground Project and Connections Ministry in the Mankato area.
