As a kid, I grew up in the house that now sits between Thompson Ravine Road and Highway 14 just off of North Victory Drive. I’ve been chronicling the development of that part of Mankato for many years.

In July, I described the Victory Drive renovation in the story, Mankato Memories — Ten Years Later — Victory Drive Renovation Photo Album. Chronologically, that story was the last of three.

In November, I talked about the Ivy Lane Subdivision. I described the original development and impact of the North Victory Drive renovation in the story, Mankato Memories — Ivy Lane Development Photo Album. Chronologically, that story was the first of three.

Finally, and second chronologically, here is the record of bridge construction over Thompson Ravine connecting old County Highway 3 and the existing Victory Drive.
