MANKATO—Tickets are on sale now for the 8th annual United Way Men’s Event, 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15 at Mankato’s ISG Field.
Presented by Rolls-Royce Solutions America, the Men’s Event welcomes men ages 21+ to enjoy a casual night of fun, food, games and more to raise awareness of United Way’s work to improve lives in our region.
The event includes food/drink samples from local vendors, games, silent auction, meat raffle and prize raffles. $1,700 in Scheels gift cards will be awarded.
Visit www.MankatoUnitedWay.org/MensEvent to purchase event tickets. Individual tickets are $75 each. Purchase a 5-pack of tickets for $350 or a 9-pack for $600. Sponsorship opportunities available. All tickets include food, gameplay, and access to auction and raffles. All who turn in their event ticket will receive two MoonDogs game vouchers.
Volunteers are needed to run games and other activities. Please contact the United Way office for more information: 507-345-4551.
Tickets also available for the $10 raffle; need not be present to win. Winners will be drawn for the following five prizes: Blackstone grill donated by True Value; 8-pack of Dog Pound tickets donated by Mankato MoonDogs; bamboo Stand Up Paddleboard donated by Bent River; $300 gift card to The Meatery donated by The Meatery; picnic table donated by Kaye Corp. Raffle tickets may be purchased at United Way or Scheels Customer Service.
The 2022 Men’s Event Committee co-chairs are Brian Taylor of Mankato Motors and Chris Willaert of Chris Willaert Farmers Insurance Agency.
About the Men’s Event:
Volunteers helped start the Men’s Event in 2015 as an opportunity for regional men to get involved in United Way’s mission of improving lives. The Men’s Event moved outdoors in 2021 and netted a record of nearly $50,000 for Greater Mankato Area United Way programs.
