The largest park in North Mankato, Spring Lake offers 52 acres of natural and maintained areas and a host of amenities.
The park offers 5 picnic shelters, 2 of which can be reserved through the City of North Mankato.
Spring Lake, located in the heart of the park, is surrounded by a paved trail — perfect for walking and biking — and has a wheelchair accessible fishing pier.
Benches located along the lake are a great place to watch the sunset or the waterbirds at play.
Visitors can enjoy feeding the ducks and geese that stop at the lake during the spring and fall migration. In the summer, the sand bottom swimming pool is a great place to cool off while in the winter, the park offers skating and sliding.
3 playground areas, ball fields, sand volleyball courts, and restrooms round out the park’s amenities.
