    The work of Minnesota native artist, Dale Eldred, the Mankato Piece has been on display in the city for 50 years.

    Eldred created the sculpture to reflect modern construction and urban renewal that was taking place in the 1960s.

    The Piece was moved from its original location to where the Hilton Garden Inn sits today.  In 2009, the piece was moved to Riverfront park where it is now on display.
